Initial Assessment
for children with speech sound difficulties
The therapist will discuss any concerns you have, gather information about your child’s development and carry out a detailed assessment of your child’s speech sound development, through a range of informal and/or formal methods.

A written report is included in the
price of an initial assessment which will contain assessment findings and recommendations.
Therapy Session
These usually last for approximately 40 minutes and include time for feedback to parents and provision of carryover work for during the week.
Sessions take place in our clinic room based at Stanley Road, Bootle and usually take place on a weekly basis. You will be able to keep the same day and time each week for your appointment.

We typically work in blocks of 8 sessions.

Your Privacy
We require 24 hours notice from you. If 24 hours notice is given, we will be able to offer you a rescheduled appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be liable to the full charge of the session fee.

Please note, we are only able to cancel and reschedule a maximum of one appointment per therapy block. If you need to cancel a second or third appointment, unfortunately these will not be rescheduled.
Fees for both initial consultations and therapy blocks must be paid in advance.
Invoices must be paid within 48 hours of the invoice date.
The preferred methods of payment is BACS. Cash or cheque payments are not accepted.
Once payment has been received, no refunds can be issued.
