Hi, I'm Sophie!

My name is Sophie Humphries and I am the founder and lead therapist of Liverpool Speech Therapy. I qualified from Birmingham City University in 2009 and since that time have worked across many settings. I have held positions in various NHS Trusts which involved working within mainstream schools, special schools, clinics, client's homes, pupil referral units and children's centres. I was also employed as the Lead Therapist for a number of years within a special school for Autistic pupils after which I moved on to a management position in a private organisation.

I started Liverpool Speech Therapy in 2017 with a drive to provide effective, dynamic and creative therapy, delivering therapy to children when they need it, where they need it and for how long they need it.

"I am passionate about changing children's lives and helping them to build communication skills to last a lifetime".
