Hi, I'm Sophie!

My name is Sophie Humphries and I am the founder and lead therapist of Liverpool Speech Therapy. I have a career spanning 13 years having worked across many settings. I have held positions in various NHS Trusts which involved working within mainstream schools, special schools, clinics, client's homes, pupil referral units and children's centres. I was also employed as the Lead Therapist for a number of years within a special school for pupils with diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder and learning difficulties after which I moved on to a management position in a private organisation.

I started Liverpool Speech Therapy in 2017 with a drive to provide effective, dynamic and creative therapy, delivering therapy to children when they need it, where they need it and for how long they need it.

"I am passionate about changing children's lives and helping them to build communication skills to last a lifetime".

My name is Brid Canavan and I am a Speech and Language Therapist at Liverpool Speech Therapy.

I am a very passionate Speech and Language Therapist and am looking forward to working together with others, to enable children to reach their full potential through delivering fun and engaging therapy sessions.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending my free time going on walks, reading books and having days out with my friends.
